Getting started
Is RoundCaddy free?
Yes. The free tier includes GPS scorecard, course search, and up to 5 saved rounds. Pro ($9.99/mo or $99.99/yr) unlocks unlimited rounds, full strokes gained analytics, Mega-Golf map overlays, and Range Mode. Premium ($14.99/mo or $149.99/yr) adds Strackaline green maps, AI caddie, and federation handicap posting.
Which devices are supported?
RoundCaddy runs on iPhone (iOS 17+), Apple Watch, Android, and the web at roundcaddy.com. Your rounds sync across platforms when signed in with the same account.
Do I need sensors or a subscription to play a round?
No sensors required — your phone GPS tracks the round. Core GPS scorecard features work on the free tier. A subscription unlocks advanced analytics and overlays.
Billing & subscriptions
How do I restore purchases on iPhone or Android?
Open Settings → Subscription (or the paywall) and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with. If restore fails, email support@roundcaddy.com with your account email.
I subscribed on the web — does it work in the app?
Yes. Sign in with the same email on iOS, Android, or web. Entitlements sync within a few minutes. If not, pull to refresh on the paywall or sign out and back in.
How do I cancel or get a refund?
Apple subscriptions: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iPhone. Google Play: Play Store → Payments & subscriptions. Web (Stripe): Profile → Billing portal. Refunds follow each store's policy; we can help escalate at support@roundcaddy.com.
Apple Watch
How do I pair my Apple Watch?
Install RoundCaddy on your Watch from the Watch app on iPhone. Open RoundCaddy on both devices while signed in. Start a round on iPhone — distances and scores sync automatically when the Watch is in range.
Yardages look wrong on my Watch
Allow location access on both iPhone and Watch. Wait for a GPS fix (usually under 30 seconds on the tee). If issues persist, force-quit both apps and restart the round from iPhone.
GPS & accuracy
Why are my distances inaccurate?
GPS accuracy depends on sky visibility, phone model, and course mapping. For best results, keep location permission set to "Always" during a round and wait for a fix before your first shot. Report persistent issues with course name and hole number via in-app Report an Issue.
A course is missing or mapped incorrectly
Search again by city or club name. You can suggest corrections from the course page or email support@roundcaddy.com with the course name and GPS coordinates if possible.
Account & privacy
How do I delete my account?
Web: sign in and visit roundcaddy.com/account/delete. iOS: Settings → Privacy → Delete Account. This permanently removes your profile, rounds, and subscription linkage. Active store subscriptions must be cancelled separately in Apple or Google settings.
How is my data used?
We use round and shot data to compute your statistics. We do not sell personal data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
